Exciting & Sophisticated.

Top: H&M (similar one)  || Skirt: Banana Republic (check out these ones HERE, HERE and HERE.) || Shoes: Forever 21 (look-a-likes)
I fell in love with this skirt when I picked it up last Summer! All year round, I have found so many different ways to wear it. Because I bought it last summer, it is no longer available but I found a few other really cute pattern skirts so make sure to check them out. Wearing a patterned piece is a creative way to add character to your outfit!
To break up the neutral black and whites, I decided to add a pop of color. A bright blue blouse screams excitement and sophistication so you definitely can't go wrong. Who doesn't want those 2 words used in the same sentence? Mix it up, play around and find out what you like!

Must Haves.

Dress: Old Navy || Chambray Shirt: Check these out HERE, and HERE || Shoes: Forever Young (some still found in stores but check these ones out HERE)
I have worn this jersey dress SO MANY TIMES. In fact, I've already blogged about it! Hurry and grab one while they are still left because a dress like this is a must have! Chambray shirts are adorable for all seasons and can be worn in so many ways. In this particular outfit, I chose to wear mine wrapped around my waist to add a grunge vibe.
Of course, I paired this outfit with some heels. What's new? I found these at Forever Young last minute, on sale, and it definitely wasn't a purchase I regretted. Let's be real, I have worn these shoes so many times with so many different outfits it's ridiculous. The color goes with absolutely anything and because there is a place where my toes and heel peep out, they are perfect for any season. You can't go wrong with shoes like that!

This makeup look is definitely a smokey eye but it's not too dramatic or overdone. I was looking for something more natural that would make my eyes pop so I used a light taupe for my lid and a black to define my eye. I smoked out my liner on the top and bottom and used a black gel liner in my waterline to give my eye color that extra pop. Anyone could rock this look and it's super easy this so give it a try!   Products Used:
Lorac Pro Palette - Taupe, Sable, Black
Maybelline Gel Liner - Blackest Black

Honey Greek Yogurt with Blueberries.

If you love greek yogurt, blueberries, oats, and chia seeds, you are sure to love them all mixed together!
My aunt gave me this recipe a while back when I told her that I hate breakfast foods and that I really want to start eating healthier.
My first bite was pure heaven! I could hardly believe that something that tasted THAT good could be so healthy!
I was also amazed at how good I felt after eating it. SO much better than after I eat a quick bowl of cereal.
And before I share the recipe let me just say that if you aren't familiar with chia seeds look them up! You will be amazed at all their health benefits. Also, the recipe calls for frozen blueberries. I'm sure you could use fresh but I just love the texture of the frozen ones.

Honey Greek Yogurt w/blueberries.

1/2- 1 cup of Honey Greek Yogurt ( I use the Greek Gods brand)
A few sprinkles of oats (I use the old fashioned kind)
A few sprinkles of chia seeds
A handful of frozen blueberries

Mix together and enjoy the yummiest breakfast in the world!

Dress: Old Navy (this particular pattern is not longer available but I found some cute black & white dresses HERE and HERE) || Shoes: Forever 21 (similar style)
I'm a huge fan of the all the jersey dresses this summer because I'm so tired of wearing shorts! Who's with me? Nothing is more classy than a black and white dress. I absolutely love this dress because it seriously could be worn for any occasion. You can dress it up with a pair of heels and some fancy jewelry or you can wear it casual by simply adding a pair of fun, summery sandals. I'm not a fan of too much aztec but I love the pattern on this dress because it shows a similar look and makes the dress more exciting and bold.
Let's talk shoes for a second. I am IN LOVE with these ankle wrap, sandal heels and I wear them ALL THE TIME! Seriously, I can't get over how adorable they are. I just bought them towards the end of April so I was surprised to not find them on their website. However, check out the link anyways because the look-a-likes are just as cute. Forever 21 has the cutest shoes for the best prices.

We had the opportunity of doing this photo shoot with the talented Talisa Myers (stick around because we have more photos on the way). She is a Utah-based photographer and I absolutely adored working with her. She has the sweetest personality and such a talented eye. She was constantly helping us fix our hair and wardrobe to make sure we would get pictures that we loved. She is very professional and wonderful to work with, so if you are living in Utah and are looking for a photographer, check her out!

My Two Favorite Beach Looks.

Shirt: JCrew (sold out, I got it on sale) But love THIS , THIS, and THIS.   || Kimono: Brickyard Buffalo (sold out) but you can get the exact same one HERE at Sammy Dress.

Wouldn't we all love to have a different beach coverup/outfit to wear each day when on vacation at the beach? I know I would. But let's face it, I don't have money for that! So it was important for me to find just a couple stylish coverups that I loved so that I wouldn't mind wearing them multiple times over our week long trip.
I am absolutely in love with graphic tees right now. They say the cutest things and can be worn for almost any occasion. I loved wearing mine over my swimsuit at the beach! Sadly the one I am wearing is sold out but I rounded up a few other ones that are just as cute. So be sure to check them out.  And my kimono, it's to die for right?! The place I bought it is similar to Eleventh Avenue in that they are always changing their products. But I found the exact one at Sammy dress and it happens to be a lot cheaper than mine was. So snag it while you can!
Happy beach shopping!

Coral & White

Top: Forever 21 (with a rhinestoned scoop neckline) || Jeans: Cotton On (no longer available but I found this stunning pair at Hollister) || Stacked Necklaces: American Eagle (they have some other really cute ones) || Gemstone Ring: American Eagle
I purchased this coral top last summer to add a fun pop of color to my outfits. Coral is such a pretty color and is perfect for the warm seasons to enhance your glowing, tan skin. Lets talk about white pants for a second. OBSESSED! White pants are so classy and can be worn with absolutely anything. If you don't own a pair, trust me, you're missing out! Word of advice: Carry a bleach pen with you when wearing them because I can't tell you enough how many times I've had something dirty get on them haha. What can I say? I'm a messy girl! Enjoy!!

The Perfect Black Dress.

Dress: Old Navy || Shoes: I bought them at the Forever Young stores in Utah. They aren't available online but I know they do have limited sizes left at the stores. If not check out THESE ones from JC Penny.  || Bracelets: Mindy Mae's Market || Lipstick: MAC
Looking for the perfect little black dress to wear this summer?  Look no further because this one is definitely a favorite. It's inexpensive and can be worn for not only casual occasions but for formal ones as well by dressing it up with a nice pair of heels and some jewelry.
Also, don't be alarmed when you see me wearing my crystal dot bracelets from Mindy Mae's Market with almost every outfit because they are pretty much my favorite.
We had the opportunity of doing this photo shoot with the talented Talisa Myers (these are just a few of the photos so stay tuned for more).  She is a Utah-based photographer and seriously does such an amazing job. She is darling as can be and her photos always turn out so crisp and clean. We chose to do our photo shoot at the Salt Lake City library because of the rain and I'm so glad we did because the lighting inside was perfect.  Anyways, if you are living in Utah definitely check her out. You won't be disappointed I promise!

Relaxing & Dramatic.

TopCotton On (Ebony/Grey Marle) || LeggingsCotton On (no longer at Cotton On but found some at Nordstrom) || Cutout Circle NecklaceForever 21 || Rhinestone Cluster Necklace: Forever 21
When I saw this shirt, I had to have it! I'm such a fan of loose, relaxed fit shirts and I'm always cold so the fact that it has long sleeves was a must for me. EVERYONE needs a good pair of leather leggings. They go with everything and I can't tell you how many times I've worn mine. Adding a touch of leather to any outfit really makes it stand out in a dramatic, sexy kind of way. Lets be real, I'm obsessed with leather! I finished my outfit with two simple necklaces. Forever 21 has unlimited necklaces to choose from and I seriously can't get over how cheap they are. Enjoy!!
Um.... Ya, I just had to hug the pole:)
