Just some Fuzz & Sparkle.

Top: Forever 21 || Skirt: Forever 21 (I can't find the exact one but they have some cute ones) || Infinity Necklace: Accessorize (check this one out HERE) || Leaf Bracelet: Accessorize (not exact one) || Diamond Bracelet: Forever 21 (again, not the same but similar)
I picked up this sparkly skirt right before the Holidays and I couldn't be more happy with it. I paired it with this feathery, fuzzy knit sweater to make the outfit even more exciting (if that's even possible haha). I wore a pair of black tights under the skirt with some black wedges keeping it simple. Side note: wearing black with black really elongates the body so with this particular outfit, wearing the black on black gives the impression of longer legs. This bedazzled skirt could work with so many pieces and create so many different looks, just have fun with it!

Proud Supporter of Messy Hair.

Nothing beats a cute, comfy and stylish outfit. I took this graphic tank and paired it with a loose leopard cardigan. To keep the laid back feel, I added some ripped up boyfriend jeans. Obviously you can't wear a tank like this without messy hair. Check out how I did my messy hair HERE.

Soft, Cut Crease.

Yes, my eyelid is slightly caught in my lash... whateves. ANYWAYS! If you are looking for a more dramatic, glammed up look, doing a cut crease is the way to go. When applying your shadow, use an angle brush to apply the shadow to your crease or where you want your crease to be so that your line is sharp and precise. Then you'll want to blend, blend, and blend that line outward towards the brow.

Hello Spring.

I would definitely say I'm one to dress according to the season. Right now, it's spring and I'm loving all the white and pastels that I see.  I especially love white. It's versatile, feminine, and perfect for spring and summer. I love this white blouse that I got from H&M.  It's easy to dress up or down as well.  I can't find this shirt anywhere on the H&M website, but HERE is a similar one. It doesn't have the rhinestones, but that's okay because you can always just add THIS necklace and it would be perfect!
Like I said, white really does go well with anything, so I decided to stick with simple denim jeans, and brown strappy heels to keep this look casual, yet dressy (: The JEANS are Jessica Simpson, and the shoes are G by Guess. However, I purchased these beauties at TJ Max. I really like THESE ones and THESE ones.
I added very simple jewelry since the collar already had a touch of jewels on it. I wore stud earrings from Icing, and a simple bracelet from Forever 21.
Happy Spring everyone!

Sun of a Beach Wave.

Curling Wand: 18-25mm
This wand can create the perfect beach wave. I seriously wrap a piece of my hair around it, hold for a few seconds (literally a few seconds) and immediately run my fingers through it after I let it go. It's super easy and messy and I absolutely adore the turn out.

This little Gem.

Necklace: Forever 21 (I couldn't find this exact one but these are close. I also loved THIS ONE).
I am OBSESSED with this necklace! It is so simple and elegant, and the best part is that it was only three bucks! I wear this little gem every single day either by itself or paired with another necklace. Everyone needs a piece like this added to their jewelry collection.

Blackberry Strawberry Lemonade Popsicles.

I've had this obsession lately with making homemade popsicles.
My little girls absolutely love them. We literally give them one every night (in the bath tub) because we all know that eliminates the sticky mess!
My littlest is teething right now and has been for a while and there is nothing that makes her more excited than getting her nice cold popsicle every night. So, if you have teething littles these are the perfect treat to help soothe those gums.
They are so easy to make and so much tastier than the store bought ones.
Here's the recipe.
Popsicle molds
(You can find them anywhere. But I got mine recently from World Market. We have tried THESE ones as well from Amazon.)
Lemonade (Homemade or store bought)
Blackberries (Cut in half)
Strawberries (Thinly sliced)
Put a few blackberries and strawberries in each popsicle mold and then fill them up with the lemonade.
Put them in the freezer for about 4-5 hours and then when you are ready to eat them hold them under warm water until the popsicle slides right out of the mold.
Enjoy! And stay tuned for more popsicles recipes because I have a feeling this is just the beginning of  my homemade popsicle obsession!

Classy & Cozy.

Sweater: Hollister (on sale) Found a look a like at Forever 21 || Skirt: Forever 21
Long, loose sweaters are so comfortable and you could wear this dark gray, knit sweater with any outfit. I decided to pair it with a classic, black pencil skirt. I'm freezing ALL THE TIME so wearing a sweater with a skirt adds that extra warmth.
Necklace: Böhme (found a similar one at Heirloom Finds)
Dress up any outfit by adding a statement necklace. I love wearing these necklaces because it really does add that extra something that changes a simple, casual outfit into a dressed up, classic look.
Shoes: Penny loves Kenny from Ross
These shoes were a gift! Great gift right? I found some similar styles at heels.com HERE and HERE. You will learn very quickly that heels are my kind a shoes.

Legs, Legs, and more Legs!

We are so excited to share with you some of our favorite workout routines that work for us and hopefully can work for you! So, today's topic is all about the thing women care about most... legs.  I'm going to share with you in full detail how I prep for my workout, my leg workout routine, and my post workout cool down.
Lets start with the prep!
I absolutely HAVE to have a pre-workout drink before I begin anything.
My favorite pre-workout EVER is ADRENHERLYN by Black Market Labs. The taste is incredible and the effect it has on my body works! You want to fill your bottle with 8 fluid oz of water and then use 1 scoop of your pre-workout. I use the Blender Bottle because it's convenient and you can seriously find them anywhere. I drink mine about 15 minutes before I workout so that way when I'm ready to go the drink will kick in. For those of you who have never taken a pre-workout but are interested, don't freak out when your body starts to take to it. You will feel tingly, but you will also feel like you can conquer anything! Just a little FYI (:
MY LEG ROUTINE:
TREADMILL for 15 minutes.
0-3 minutes, walk at 4.0.
3-6 minutes run at 6.5.
6-9 minutes walk at 4.0
9-12 minutes run at 7.5
12-15 minutes run at 8.0 and above.
BICYCLE: 10 minutes.
I put my resistance at 9 and above and just kill my legs for the next 10 mins.
STAIR CLIMBER: 10 minutes
I try to do at least 60 steps per minute.
And the last 2 minutes I go as fast as my body can handle.
The cardio portion is killer and its hard, but I always feel incredible after. I advise that YOU only do what YOUR body can handle. I had to work up to this level, and I'm still pushing myself to go stronger. It's a p r o c e s s. Be patient!
CARDIO LUNGES: (my personal favorite!!)
I'll try my best to explain this perfectly.
20 lunges down with a 20 lb back bar behind my neck.
20 lunges back up with 5 lbs dumbbells in each hand.
20 lunges down again with no extra weight just my body.
1 minute break before next set.
I do this 3 times, making it a total of 180 lunges.
DROP IT LIKE A SQUAT:
4 sets of 20, pretty simple.
Making it a total of 80 squats.
I don't do anything more then 20 lbs when squatting. I bulk very easy and so I prefer less weight and more reps!
LEG PRESS:
Again, simple.
Just find a leg press machine and choose the weight you desire.
I do 40 lbs 4 sets of 20.
Making a total of 80 leg presses.
This machine really works my quads.
CALF RAISES:
4 sets of 20
20 lbs.
Making a total of 80 calf raises.
Now, I don't focus on every muscle of my leg. If I did I would be at the gym for 5 hours and I definitely don't have time for that. This is just my basic leg routine that I personally feel does the most for my legs. I do focus on my hamstrings, glutes, and butt in an entirely different workout during the week.
I just want to say that this workout fits me for my body type.  I know there are millions of other workouts out there that would be beneficial as well and I would love to try them. So don't feel discouraged about how many reps, weight, etc., just do what feels best for you!
POST GYM WORKOUT:
When I get home from the gym I have to drink protein. I could go on and on why I love it. If you're interested in what protein can do for you and the benefits it offers, take a look HERE!
This is one of my favorite recipes for a protein shake.
You will need:
1- Blender
2- 1.5 cups of Milk (your preference)
3- 1 scoop of Protein Powder (your choice in flavor). For me, Chocolate!!
4- 1 banana
5- 1 tsp of cinnamon
6- handful of ice.
Blend together and BOOM you have yourself a tasty, HEALTHY treat (:

Is It Summer Yet?

Top: Hollister || Shorts: Loft (couldn't find exact ones but those are similar)
When I saw this top on the sale rack in Hollister, I had to have it. In fact, I grabbed two! One in grey and one in an oatmeal color. It's super light and I knew I could wear these sweaters with ANYTHING.
(ps. I love how long the sleeves are!)
I could not pass up these shorts when I saw them. I bought three pairs!! They are made of cotton and I love that they have a classy look to them. Nothing beats an article of clothing that can be dressed up or dressed down. Who's with me?
ShoesRoss
These beauties are BCBGeneration that I found at Ross. Ross is definitely a hit and miss here in Utah but it's worth the hunt because I've found some amazing shoes!
